Christian values are alive and well here at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte! We were pleased to have our founder Christina Forrester part of the faith and values panel discussion and morning prayer gathering this morning to open the convention. The theme was ‘Greater Together’ and how Democrats of faith can accomplish so much more as we work in cooperation. This goes double for the entire Body of Christ as a whole – just imagine what amazing things God could do through us if we got past the rhetoric and got about the business of helping serve “the least of these!”

We are here at the convention all week attending the Faith Caucus and morning prayer gatherings, making it evident that no one party has claim on Christianity. We are thankful for the wonderful people here we have already met who are fighting for social justice.

I want to cheer and support this convention! I do for the most part. But, I keep hearing that on the democratic platform has changed to say, I women has a right to abortion, whether she can afford it or not. Is this true. Has the democratic party now decided to have tax payer abortion as a part of it’s platform?
